The most Unique Church I’ve ever Visited — La Barca de la Fe
Have you read my story about my weekend escape to the most unusual church I’ve ever been to?
Yes, my recent trip was full of excitement. From exploring the colorful city of Atlixco and watching Guelaguetza, which was out of my plan, to visiting the boat-shaped design church tucked away on the outskirts of Tlaxcala, Mexico If you think this church is located around the shore or something like that, you’re totally wrong. It is surrounded by lush plains.
Just about 40 kilometers from Tlaxcala Centro, the small suburb of Tlaxcala reveals a surprising treasure: La Barca de la Fe. This remarkable chapel stands out not only for its religious significance but also for its distinct boat-shaped architecture, which sets it apart from conventional churches. Wonder why? It’s believed to be a powerful symbol of faith and hope, as the Bible says.
