If you’ve already read about my weekend getaway in Atlixco (For those of you who haven’t read it, check it out here), you must know how I couldn’t help but fall in love with this place, even though I was only there for a short visit.

Atlixco is a Mexican municipality in the state of Puebla. It takes roughly 45 minutes to get there from Puebla Centro. This city is known as a flower city, which I quickly noticed after passing through the welcome gate. There were a lot of flower shops along the streets.

As I arrived, I was instantly captivated by its vibrant vibe. Its cobblestone streets and colorful buildings were adorned with mesmerizing murals painted by local artists.

Without further ado, here are my favorite things to see in Atlixco:

1. La Escalera Ancha
